Players Theatre Company proudly opens auditions for the Australasian Premier of The Brain from Planet X. 'The Brain from Planet X' is a hilarious musical send-up of bad 50’s sci-fi movies, which tells the story of an alien invasion circa 1958. A Brain and its two alien cohorts – Zubrick and Yoni, arrive on Earth with a plan to take over the San Fernando Valley - starting with a happy nuclear family. It’s the first step on the road ...to their quest of taking over the entire planet and destroying the family unit. This rousing, toe-tapping musical features a dancing, singing brain ... what more could you want from a musical? This show has had rave reviews from the audiences who have seen the show since its well received premiere in Los Angeles in 2006. “RAVE! What a treat! Was fun filled entertainment with innovative sets, terrific songs and dance numbers, and a delightful cast in a science fiction romp that had us laughing throughout!” - Los Angeles Times Online Reader Review Production Team Director - Carl Whiteside Musical Director – Kellie-Anne Kimber Choreographer – Hayley Wood Information Night This will be held on 14th June 2011 at Fleigner Hall, Highland Av.
