'TEN QUID'
Auditions for the above were planned to take place on Saturday 16th and 23rd of April. Being the heathens we are, we completely overlloked the 23rd falls on the Easter holiday, so we've rescheduled auditions for Saturday 30th of April. Actors required.
Note: as the play is set in Manchester England, the majority of roles require a Manchester twang / accent. We recognise that most local actors won't originate from this part of the world, and to this end, we seek enthusiastic actors prepared to work on the dialect as part of the rehearsal process. Note: The part of Cody, requires a Scottish accent, and Mark (senior) requires a hybrid Manchester/ Australian Accent.
MAIN CAST
Cody: single mother, aged 30-35, Scottish, wears punk / Goth style clothing / makeup
Alex: Cody’s son, aged 12, average skateboarding kid of this age.
Mark: (Man) age 45-50, Manchester / Aussie accent, physical characteristics average middle aged man
Mark (boy)age 9-10
Tommy: age 13, athletic build
SUPPORTING CAST
Security guard: male, age approx 24-30
Pete: Disc jockey age 35, slim, effeminate
Bernard: Man, middle aged
