The Odd Couple

AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS! Auditions for Neil Simon’s Female version of “The Odd Couple” will take place on Sunday the 10th April from 9:30am – 11:00am at the Garrick Theatre, 16 Meadow St, Guildford. Although there are age ranges for the characters, don’t let that put you off as I would rather have a good strong actor than someone who exactly fits the age. The Characters are broken into the two leads and an ensemble group. Female: Olive Madison: age 30’s – 40’s Florence Unger: age 30’s – 40’s Mickey: age mid 20’s – early 50’s Renee: age mid 20’s – early 50’s Sylvie: age mid 20’s – early 50’s Vera: age mid 20’s – early 50’s Male: Jesus Costazuela: age mid 30’s – mid 40’s Manolo Costazuela: age mid 30’s – mid 40’s The male roles are cameos, they first appear in scene 2 Act 2. Also required: dedicated and enthusiastic people to fill the roles of: Stage Manager/prompt Assistant Stage Manager/Props backstage crew lighting/sound operator(s) set construction/painting Largely unseen, these roles are vital to the play’s success.
