CLIMBING VINE SCHOLARSHIPS 2010 - Learn, create, perform with us on a 12 month scholarship! Climbing Vine Theatre Company is offering a unique opportunity for youth talent in Perth to participate in our training programs free of charge for 2011. We are looking for talented, dedicated young actors who wish to study in a hands-on, production based environment and develop a range of performance skills for both theatre and film. To that end, we are offering : 2011 Youth Development Scholarships - Actors aged 10-17 are encouraged to apply. This scholarship will allow you to participate in our Foundation Program for 2011, attending weekly workshops at our workshop space in Belmont. You will work with experienced industry mentors to prepare your performance in two live productions and various short films in 2011. The program is designed to equip you with a sound foundation of performance skills and give you a true industry experience of working in a show cast. No previous experience is required for this scholarship. 2011 Horizon Scholarships - Actors aged 17-25 are encourgaed to apply. This scholarship will allow you to partcipate in our Horizon Theatre Graduate Program for 2011, attending weekly workshops at our workshop space in Belmont. You will work with experienced industry mentors to prepare your work for three live productions and various short films in 2011. The Horizon Program encourages you to develop a practical tool-kit as a performer, an array of skills for use in the industry, whilst encouraging you to test your limits and always be working towards the next level. Previous experience on stage, whether in school, community or local industry, is an advantage. Scholarship opportunities are limited to five. The selection process will consist of both an audition and an interview stage.
