"Suzy v. Samantha: Fur will Fly " is a comedy about two aging actresses who are supposedly best friends but are always conspiring against each other to win fame, fortune and men! To be staged at the Gasworks Arts Park in January 2011 as part of the Midsumma Festival, on a profit-share basis. The tone of the play is something along the lines of "Little Britain" meets “Dynasty”. It also involves a lot of cross-dressing! We don’t have a date set for auditions yet, but they’ll be roughly at the end of September. At this stage we’re just looking for people who have an interest in the project. Most of all we want people who are friendly, adaptable and easy-going and work well in a team, so that so that the project is a fun experience for everyone! At this stage we are looking for three actors and the following crew members: CREW Stage manager Set designer Lighting Designer Sound Designer Costume, hair and make-up Designers ACTORS Mario: 18-30, Argentinian houseboy, Latin looks, ability to speak with a Spanish accent, actor will also play an air hostess. Alexander: 25-40, brash Hollywood director, ability to speak with an American accent Ricardo: 35-55, Main role is a demure butler, but actor will also play a customs officer and a priest.
