Reading/info nights are Tuesday, August 3 and Thursday August 5 at 7.30pm Auditions will be Tuesday, August 17, Thursday Aug 19 and Friday Aug 20 from 6.30pm. PRODUCTION TEAM: Director - Malcolm White Producer/Stage manager - Cilla Aslanidis Choreographer - Greg Shand Choral Musical Director - Adam Vujic Orchestra Musical Director - Peter Copeland CAST OF OKLAHOMA AUNT ELLER - Ranch owner. Strong country woman. 45+. Must be strong actress CURLY - Leading Man. Aged 21-35 Brash cowboy. Dancing required LAUREY - Leading lady, aged 21-35. Strong actress with dance ability. WILL PARKER - Aged 18-35. Good actor. Must dance and have good comic timing ADO ANNIE - Good character actress, aged 18-28 with comic timing and must be able to dance. ALI HAKIM - Aged 28-45. Comic timing essential and must be able to move. Reasonable acting skills required JUD FRY - Sinister role. Must be able to portray pity and evil (must be loved and hated at the same time). Age 21-45. Strong acting and dancing required. Must be able to die convincingly. GERTIE CUMMINGS - She is the arch rival of Ado Annie. Comedy role. Must have obnoxious high pitched giggle. Must dance well. MALE CHORUS - Varying ages from 16-60. All have dialogue. All must be able to dance or move. CORD ELAM CARNES SLIM SKIDMORE MIKE JOE SAM CHALMERS FEMALE CHORUS – Ages 16-35. Dancing, singing and acting required. Some dialogue. JESS AGGIE ARMINA SILVIE KATE ELLEN There will be some general chorus members required. No children’s roles in this production. Six dancing girls required (separate to female chorus) for the dream Ballet. These girls must be able to dance on pointe. NB: The dream ballet will not be done by general chorus. SEASON DATES November 19 – December 5 Please note that everyone is required for all rehearsals as specified and ALL performances. Please do not audition if you are unavailable for the entire season. Rehearsals will be Monday and Wednesday with some Sundays during the last month
