Ivan Gundulic company is auditioning for a new production, a comedy about greed, trust, love and money. Performed in English, it premiered at the Catholic University in Washington DC, USA 5 years ago with great success. We are still looking for a few more actors to complete the cast . Rehearsals start early August, opening 1st October.

The masterpiece of the Croatian renaissance literature, Marin Držić’s
comedy Uncle Maroje, is one of the gems of the Croatian drama literature and a
brilliant work in which the author humorously describes Dubrovnik and its
citizens who happened to find themselves in the Italian metropolis Rome.Uncle
Maroje is a fresco of a historical period and a society, a micro-cosmos in
which all human virtues and vices interweave.
