4 short Plays Plus

Auditions for the 2010 season of 4 Short Plays plus will be held at Blacktown High School Auditorium, Fifth Avenue, Blacktown on February 8th, starting sharply at 7:30pm. With seven wonderful plays this year from around the globe, there are a large number of roles available. Audition pieces will be available on the night or you can obtain an audition pack by emailing us at info@bcct.org.au There are 14 female and 12 male roles available. Over 18's preferable, however this will be at the directors discretion. A brief orientation will open the night, with an introduction to BCCT, the plays and the directors. Auditionees must then register. Actors will be able to audition for their preferred roles noting preferences in order on their audition forms. Each Director will audition their play and anyone auditioning for those roles will be invited to audition. Auditions will be open and no appointment necessary. Rehearsals will be held at the Director’s discretion and organised for each individual play keeping the cast and Director’s availabilities in mind. A rehearsal schedule will be made available once the plays have been cast. Rehearsals for 4 Short Plays are generally held on a Monday or Wednesday evening. Important Dates: - Bump In- 3rd/4th April Dress Rehearsals 5th/6th/7th April - Performance dates: Friday 9th April @ 8pm Saturday 10th April @8pm Sunday 11th April @ 2pm Wednesday 14th April @ 8pm Friday 16th April @ 8pm Saturday 17th April @ 8pm These dates are non-negotiable and MUST be attended by all cast and crew members. A commitment is made by every performer to attend all rehearsals, performances, and bump-in/out. Obviously, if sickness prevails, a phone call needs to be made to your Director. Whilst at these events, all performers and crew members are to commit themselves professionally, and with dedication. This ensures a smooth–running show, and that fun is had by all.
