Please read the following all the way through as all details are here!

 The November-December 2010 production for the Old Mill Theatre will be the popular and touching musical, Fiddler on The Roof. Directed by Neroli Burton  who is well known in local theatre circles for her musical productions, she has previously directed for us, South Pacific and Aladdin, both sell-out seasons.

We are also delighted to say that Justin Freind will be Musical director for this show. Justin and Neroli have collaborated with us for South Pacific and Aladdin.

 The season will run from November 19 to December 11th

HERE IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: Auditionees will be required to sing a song, not necesarilly from the show, but one in a musicals style, ie no rock 'n roll. you may also be asked to read from sections of the script. auditions will firstly be on a one to one base and later paired/grouped with others. If you have a CV and a suitable photo please bring with you, but this is not essential in order to audition.As we are receiving a lot of interest in this show, please be prepared to 'hang about'  as timings may run into each other! Let me know if there are times that are impossible for you and we will do our best to accomodate.

Auditions will run at 10 minute intervals from 1 pm. Please bring a CD or backing tape if you have one as Justin would prefer to listen to you rather than play, but he will do so if necessary.If you have a regular accompanist then by all means bring him/her along. We do have a piano and Justin will bring his keyboard, so we should be able to cover all situations! If auditioning for chorus then we will almost certainly  group people together.
