Jigsaws

This play, locally written and set in Perth in 1980's , has an all female cast. We are introduced to five women, covering three generations of the same family, and follow their lives for a period of just over one year. There are moments of great humour, others of sadness and crisis. It is the height of the feminist era. There are no small roles in this play, all five characters are vibrantly written, utterly real women whom you will recognise immediately. Emma, 60+, widowed mother of Sylvia and Pat. Sylvia, 40ish, mother of Monica and Alex. House-proud and anxious. Pat, 40ish, sister of Sylvia, not happy in her marriage but more laid back than Sylvia. Monica, 30ish, house-proud and anxious like her mother. Alex, late 20's, feminist, rebellious. Auditions for this locally written play will be held at KTW, on Monday 14th December at 7.30pm. Season dates are February 12, 13, 19, 20, 21(matinee), 26, 27th.
