An Englishman Abroad

This is Beaumaris Theatre's entry in the VDL One Act Play Festivals 2009. We are looking for an experienced male actor, age 40's to 60's, with good posture and English accent without Australian dialect, to play the part of the Shop assistant in a very posh menswear shop in London. This is a small but important role and the character has nine lines. The actor will also be expected to assist with setting and striking the set at the Festival venues. The play will be performed on two nights at Beaumaris Theatre, 82 Wells Rd Beaumaris 3193, on Thursday 16th and Friday 17 July. We shall then take the play to Macedon on Saturday 18th OR Sunday 19th July, Ararat on Saturday 1st OR Sunday 2nd, Foster on Saturday 8th August and in Ballarat on Saturday 15th OR Sunday 16th August.
