Synopsis:
This hilarious stage adaptation of TV's Golden Age Comedy by Brooks & Henry, follows the misadventures of the famous spy, Maxwell Smart, agent 86 and his lovely assistant, 99.Originally developed as a parody of Ian Fleming's James Bond, this very funny play features most of the famous characters, one liners & gags that have been loved for generations.In this adaptation by Christopher Sergel, Max & 99 are on the trail of Siegfried, evil boss from KAOS, the international organisation of evil & nastiness…who may have the dreaded ‘Inthermo’ machine which is powerful enough to destroy the USA!
Will he get there in time? Will Siegfried believe how many coast guards are circling him? There’s only one way to find out….
Garrick Theatres production of ‘Get Smart’ July 2009 /August 2009 has the answers, so whatever you do, don’t miss it ‘by that much’!
Auditons: to be held on the 25th April, from 10am to 1 pm and by appointment. Depending on interest, there may be a second session on the Sunday 26th.
