Andrew will be conducting the first round of auditions at the Theatre from; Friday 27th February at 7.30pm.  Call backs will be arranged as necessary.  Expression of interest from actors is invited.

Audition requirements - Two prepared speeches of a contrasting nature, one or two minutes in length.  There are no guarantees that auditionees will be worked with both speeches.  The aim is to discover the scope of the actor to create any of the characters.  Auditions will be 10-15 minutes.

Andrew hopes to fully cast by March 8th. First analysis reading is intended to be held Tues 10/3 and the second, Tues 17/3.  Rehearsals to begin 24/3.

Performance Dates - May 15 - May 30, 2009.

CHARACTERS

Felicity/Flick - aged 37. She has intellect and passion.  She is a chef and businesswoman.  As Felicity 'drives' the play, the actor needs a strong committment to the project.

Tom - aged 42. Masculine, fit and youthful in looks and physicality.  An agile performer. Straight-forward, solution-orientated and capable.

Josh - aged 37. An American from California. An emotional thinker with an interesting intellect. Obviously attractive.

Bunty - Felicity's mother, probably aged late 50's to 70's. Rather North Shore in style, maternal, feminine, conscious of reputation and essentially discreet. Should not be two-dimensional or stereotyped.

Stephanie - age range vast, 20's to 60's.  Felicity's neighbour. A fit actor capable of physical interpretation as well as vocal.  Provides much of the comedy.

Jason - early 20's. Tennis playing star. Self-absorbed, confident, emotional, demanding, curious. Real life reference is John McEnroe. Fit and agile.
