All Shook Up

All Shook Up is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Elvis Presley. The story is based on the plot of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. We are looking for actors ages 15 - 30 to fill all roles. Rehearsals are every Monday night 7:00 - 10:00pm commencing 2 March 2009. Performances will be 21 - 28 June 2009 at the Science Theatre at UNSW. This musical is being put on as a Performing Arts Workshop. Performing Arts Workshops are designed to teach production skills, acting, singing and dancing through 'doing'. The dance styles and music of the 1950s focusing on the work of Elvis Presley will be covered in detail and the skills learned here can be applied to other shows requiring similar choreography and vocal styles. All performers will be actively involved in all facets of the production and learn about being part of a show - not just being in it.
