We are a leading Children's Party and Theatre in Education company owned and operated by qualified teachers servicing Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, SA, the ACT and NSW. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic professional to join our team in administration at our office in Hughesdale (near Chadstone Shopping Centre).
This administration position is a fun but challenging role requiring someone with a very strong work ethic who shows pride in their work and displays an exemplary attention to detail. The role is demanding but incredibly rewarding, with new challenges presented every day.
Previous experience in the field of administration and an ability to create invoices in MYOB is a must for the applicant while experience in marketing is very important.
Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Director, greeting external customers, answering incoming phone calls and developing quotes for clients, booking in and confirming shows with clients and performers, phone sales of school shows and party characters, computer processing and data entry, and general ad hoc administration tasks as required.
Other skills that are required:
a. An excellent polished phone manner;
b. The ability to problem solve and resolve;
c. Proven bookkeeping skills in MYOB;
d. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task;
e. Accurate keyboarding skills;
f. Creativity and enthusiasm;
g. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
h. The ability to work both independently and within a small team;
The position is an ongoing full time position, 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. You will be appreciated for your efforts and respected within a family friendly organization, together with a generous salary package with bonuses.
