Twelfth Night

There are three available audition dates: - Sun 4/Jan at 2pm - Wed 7/Jan at 7:30pm - Sun 11/Jan at 2pm These are group auditions and no appointments are necessary. There is nothing to prepare - just turn up at the specified time. Auditions will be held in the Blue Room at Ashwood College, Vannam Drive Ashwood. Melway ref: 60 J10. Performance season will run from 15/Apr till 2/May, including a performance in Stratford, Gippsland on the final weekend. CAST REQUIRED: The Men: - Orsino - Duke of Illyria; self-indulgent and obsessed with the idea of love. - Sebastian - Viola's twin brother. - Antonio - Sea Captain & Sebastian's friend. - Sea Captain - friend of Viola (could be doubled). - Sir Toby Belch - rude, selfish drunkard & Olivia's uncle. - Sir Andrew Aguecheek - a rich dim-witted natural fool. - Malvolio - Olivia's scornful steward; aspires beyond his class. - Curio and Valentine - attendants to Duke Orsino. - Fabian - Olivia's servant. - Feste - Olivia's servant. A wise fool. Must be able to sing and possibly play an instrument. The Women: - Olivia - a wealthy countess; melodramatic, with a commanding presence. - Viola - Sebastian's twin sister; young, beautiful and smart. - Maria – Olivia's Chambermaid; vivacious, clever, and mischievous; short. Additional: - Lords, Sailors, a Priest, Officers, Musicians and attendants.
