For Playlovers' March season in 2009, a comedy about a young TV soapie star who decides he would like to have a go at the classics, in this case, Shakespeare. He has been offered the role of Hamlet in a Central Park Production. This entails him having to move from LA to New York and to acquire an apartment that once belonged to the legendary actor, John Barrymore who when he was alive, made the role of Hamlet his own.
This is an affectionately amusing comedy about the fickle nature of art and celebrity, with some interesting observations about the stage, the acting profession and life in the spotlight.
Auditions will be held on Sunday 7th December 9:30am for 10am start at Hackett Hall, Floreat
