AUDITIONS International Children's Theatre Company

LATT Children’s theatre in Seoul, South Korea is auditioning for performing artists. Auditions will be conducted in Sydney at the Bondi Pavilion Studio on Sunday Nov. 9th at 3pm. Call backs will be conducted on Tuesday Nov. 11 at 3pm. LATTCT's annual program is comprised of: • Korea's only Professional English Language performance company; • an art and language workshop program for young children involving music, visual arts and storytelling; • the production of English language resource books and multi media resources for children We are looking for an arts practitioner with experience in live performance. Applicants need strong skills in singing and dancing. Other performance and workshop skills such as puppetry, acrobatics or the ability to play a musical instrument would be an advantage. Our philosophy is about caring for kids so the artist in residence must be genuinely fond of, and comfortable with, children. The initial contract period is 5½ months beginning mid March 2009. LATTCT will provide a modern apartment in Seoul, salary and a food allowance. Interested parties should contact the General Manager of LATTCT; Kim HyunJeong - khj02@unibooks.co.kr. She will forward you a questionnaire and three songs, which you should download and familiarise yourself with prior to audition. You will be asked to present parts of these songs at audition. You should also bring a rock / pop / blues number of your own to sing with a short movement piece to show us what a great mover you are! There will be a CD player at the audition but no repetiteur. You MUST attend the audition with a resume, the completed questionnaire, a copy of your passport, and a photograph (35㎜ x 45㎜). Successful applicants must provide an original and current HIV test result. (Required by Korean Law).
