Call for applications to audition for the Graduate Theatre Ensemble 2009

Applications are invited to audition for the Graduate Theatre Ensemble 2009 as study towards Honours, Masters or Graduate Diploma in Theatre Students in the Graduate Theatre Ensemble undertake a one year intensive program of coursework towards Honours or Graduate Studies in Theatre. In association with The Centre for Drama and Theatre Studies, the course offers specific skills training workshops in acting, singing, movement (Feldenkreis) and voice (story telling and specialist vocal techniques). Professionally presented theatre productions enable the practical application of these skills, culminating in performances on and off campus, in commercial theatres and on tour. Individualised tuition takes place in a small group environment from professional teachers and directors, under the guidance of Artistic Director, Peter Oyston. Prerequisites: successful completion of a three year Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University, or a similar degree from another Australian University.
