FAME THE MUSICAL

Auditions from 9 am to 3 pm at ALL THAT JAZZ STUDIO on Wanneroo Road, Wanneroo- bookings no necessary. Auditionees are required to sing a song from the musical. Please also be prepared for a dance ability audition and to be given a piece to read from the script for the panel. Please bring sheet music or a backing track - do not sing unaccompanied. JACK ZAKOWSKY, alternate casting for Tyerone. A Russian immegrant student from Brighton Beach in Brooklyn who want tobe John Travolta! IRIS KELLY, well-to-do, lovely dancer SCHLOMO METZENBAUM, affable sensitive violinist (not necessarily violin, could be another instrument) GRACE (lambchops) LAMB, a drummer, comic GOODMAN (GOODY) KING, Jazz Trumpeter (not neccesarily trumpet, could be another instrument) MABEL WASHINGTON, R & B Singer, plump, comic MISS SHERMAN, traditionalist, English Teacher MISS BELL, dance teacher, puts art first MR SHEINKOPF, music teacher, distinguished MR MYERS, drama teacher, easy-going CHORUS - Student at P. A., who have lines and sing, and who constantly interact with the others. Made up of dance, drama and music classes.
