Kindness of Stranglers – Fringe production
Do you wish you were doing something more with your life? On the verge of a life crisis, dogloving workaholic Sam embarks on a project to document random acts of kindness by strangers, until he receives a mysterious series of dares...
A black comedy about the bad side of being good.
Previous Fringe productions including: Sakura Mansions (2004), Death and Downsizing (2005) and Dead Squared (2006) have all had excellent attendances. With Sakura Mansions and Death and Downsizing enjoying completely sold out runs.
This is a profit-share production.
I am looking for several versatile actors for a Fringe production to play at Dantes in Fitzroy from 24 Sep – 5 October.
In particular I am looking for three male actors circa 25-35 to play multiple characters from an uptight advertising executive, a macho guy with an interest in alternative therapies, a brand-conscious homeless person, and a Willy Wonker-style omniscient being.
Auditions will be held at Melbourne Museum on Sunday 3 August (during the day) and Tuesday 6 August (in the evening).
