OLD MILL THEATRE ANNOUNCES AN EXCITING OPEN-AIR 2009 PRODUCTION.

Under the direction of Stephen Lee the theatre will be producing the immortal love story of Romeo and Juliet for it's first season in 2009.

The audition dates will NOW be Sunday December 14th, 3-6 pm, Monday December 15th and Tuesday December 16th from 3 pm to about 10 pm,as we have had a huge response!  The season is scheduled to be performed in the Scented Garden on the  South Perth foreshore. The performance dates will  be MARCH 18,19,20,21,22,24,25,26,28,28 2009 Auditions will be on a one to one base and auditionees will be asked to prepare a short (15-20 lines) passage from any Shakespearian play. This will need to be learned, not read. We will be slotting people in at 15 minute intervals and they will be at the theatre. The 3 pm start is for those who can make it during the daytime.

The production will be played in "Traditional style", that is simple setting, minimal lighting effects, mediveal  dress etc etc.

AUDITIONEES  will be expected to be available to commence rehearsals on JANUARY 18th This will be a meet & greet session and rehearsals will start immediately following. Rehearsal days/times will be MON/WED/THUR NIGHTS 7 pm sharp and SUNDAY afternoons 2-7 pm

Note: not everyone will be required to attend all of the early rehearsals , the rehearsal schedule will be available  on the audition days.
