AUDITION NOTICE for two short plays to be performed at the Marloo Theatre in the Short Play Season in September 10 – 20, six performances.
Auditions to be held at the Marloo Theatre, Marloo Road, Greenmount.
Sunday 22 June 2pm to 4pm.
"The Boor Hug"

Synopsis:
Set in the late 1800s Casimir must break up with his girlfriend Mimi to marry the daughter of his Godmother who stutters and is filthy rich. Casimir is also fed up with the Parisian maid’s behaviour and brings in Flugel, a German valet, from the border of the Alsace countryside. Flugel is a simple and pure soul with a very thick German accent.
The blunders of this unbelievable fellow cause the total collapse of Casimir’s wedding plans to the delight of Mimi.

Synopsis:
An Australian story-not really a drama not really a comedy. More a snap shot of life in a Melbourne suburb in the mid 60s.A migrant Italian family tries to cope with life in a new country and to feel that they belong. Then the school community becomes involved with them.
