GASLIGHT - A Victorian thriller!

Old Mill Theatre will present Patrick Hamilton's classic Victorian thriller, Gaslight

Production dates: October 10 - 25th

Synopsis:  Jack Manningham plans to drive his gentle wife insane, slowly and deliberately. He almost succeeds when help for Bella arrives in the person of a former detective who believes Manningham to be a thief and a murderer!. Finally he and  Bella prove her husband's true identity and Bella gets her revenge.

director Sally Barendse will audition for this play on Saturday and Sunday August 2 and 3 from 1 pm at the theatre.

CAST: Jack Manningham 40's Educated english accent

          Rough , the Detective 50-60 ish London accent

          Bella late 20,s -mid 30's Educated English accent

         Elizabeth, the housekeeper - 50 ish - london accent

          Nancy, the maid - London-Cockney accent

Please note all quoted ages are stage ages and not to be taken literally.

auditions will be held in groups of 4, prferably 2 men and 2 women together.Please can audiitionees to list their preferred time-slots on either of the two days and indicate their preferred roles. Please bring a CV to the audition if available.
