The Garrick Theatre will hold auditions for their 2008 One Act Season on Sunday May 4th @ 1pm The one act season performs at Garrick Theatre on June 25, 26, 27, 28 and will enter into the ITA State One Act Drama Festival held this year at Old Mill Theatre and South West Drama Festival in Bunbury. “A One-Night Stand-Off” a comedy by Martin Lindsay Greg and Rachel wake up together, much to the surprise of both. An awkward situation at the best of times, made all the more awkward as details from the previous night slowly filter back to them. There is strong language in the play. Three actors of any age to play three ‘hitmen’. After three very individual and strong actors of any age with great chemistry. Further info: Tracee ph: 0407 739 319 _______________________________________ "Swallowing is a Very Private Thing" a drama by Ailsa Mathiesen directed by Rob Whitehead (Adults Only Audience) Cast: 5 women 1 woman - early to mid 30's 4 women–range from 30's-50's Set in a mental institution and the four secondary characters are 'alter egos' of the main character (voices in her head), and they also play two psychiatrists and her husband.
