Troll Bridge - An Epic Fantasy Comedy

Snowgum Films is currently seeking an assortment of male actors – of any age and appearance - to play an equally assorted group of men in a large Lord of the Rings fashioned army. They are all character roles with punchy Monty Python styled dialogue, with a heavy requirement on comic timing and British accents. About Troll Bridge Troll Bridge is a short comedy / fantasy story penned by Best Selling author Terry Pratchett. The concept is based around that of the world’s last barbarian hero (aged 87) and his talking horse, attempting to track down and kill a troll in single combat… despite what the anti-defamation league might say about it. Behind the absurdist plot and biting dialogue, the story is really about trying to find your purpose in a rapidly evolving world. The film has been in development since 2003 and has required a massive undertaking in assembling armies, creating and animating entirely computer generated stone-based characters, and co-ordinating a dedicated team from around the globe with a single focused vision. We are now going through and making improvements where we can, with an expected release date by the end of this year. Due to the nature and scale of the film, we expect it to do exceptionally well on the festival circuit.
