Antigone

Auditions for the classic Greek tragedy Antigone by Sophocles will be held at Nicholson Street Community House, 32 Nicholson Street East Coburg 3058 on Tuesday night 18 March, at 7:30 pm. After the battle that killed both of her brothers Antigone goes behind the the king's back to bury one of the brothers left to rot in the desert. A range of roles for males and females of all ages (must be over the age of 17). No preparation needed for the audition. Rehearsals will be on Monday and Thursday nights starting on 7 April, with dress rehearsal on 10 June and performances on 12,13,14,15,19,20 and 21 June.
