Series of One Act Plays Overview The Series of One Act Plays is a new concept that BATS will be trialling for our March school holidays youth performance. We will have three directors directing three one act plays, with these three shows put together as one show for the audience at the end. So come along to watch, and you will get three shows for the price of one! This concept provides a perfect opportunity for those youths who want to give acting a try for the first time. You could take a part in just one show, or audition for all three! There is a wide range of parts of varying size, to suit anyone who wanted to be involved! More information about the individual shows is available below. Audition Information Auditions will be held on Sunday, 3rd February at The Factory. Bookings can be made by calling the BATLine on 9704 6026. Again, all are welcome! The auditions for all three shows will be held together. So while you may audition for a part in one show, if our directors believe you may be more suitable for a role in another show, they may cast you in that part (if you accept). This also provides an opportunity for you to be cast in multiple shows; perhaps a chorus part in one and speaking part in another. You will be able to provide your preferences on our audition form. This is the perfect opportunity for youth to have their first theatre experience- there are plenty of minor speaking roles to give everyone a go! Their replacements are chosen via a dwarf talent contest. Meanwhile, Snow White has apple seller trouble again, and a handsome prince must be found. Who can save her? Perhaps the crew of the Starship USS Compromise and an assortment of robots can help?
