Money and Friends

Melville Theatre Company will hold Auditions for the second season of 2008 on

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10 2008 AT 2 PM   at the theatre.

Money and Friends by one of Australia's best known playwrights is set in "Crystal Inlet where four couples retreat to their weekenders to escape the stress of the city. They are very diverse characters brought together in a friendship that has arisen because of where they are. Would they be friends under other circumstances?

Peter, a professor of pure mathematics, also 40’s

Conrad, a genial TV presenter, late 50’s

Jaquie, attractive, intelligent, tough wife of Conrad, 30’s

Stephen, a gloomy orthopaedic surgeon, 40’s

Penny, Stephen’s attractive, cheerful wife, 40’s

Alex, a corporate lawyer, a go-getter, 40’s

Vicki, wife of Alex, social climber, early 40’s

Justin, Conrad’s son, intense, mid 20’s
