AUDITIONING AT THE LIMELIGHT THEATRE SUNDAY 27TH JANUARY 2008 BETWEEN 11AM AND 2PM
The following characters are required for this tense thriller.
BLAIR GRIFFIN - the central female character. Described in the script as a fragile woman in her mid-thirties. She is graceful, feminine and apparently artless.
MORGAN RICHARDS - Blair's husband. Mid-forties and attractive. A minor role.
TONY LOMBARDI - a seedy photographer, obsessed with Blair. An intense kinetic man. Age immaterial
SERGEANT DORIS AYLESWORTH - probably in the thirties. Pleasant looking, bright, nice sense of humour.
LIEUTENTANT GUS BRADEN - a flawed, idiosyncratic wreck of a man in his early fifties, with an attractive, likeable, lived-in face. He is nobody's fool. A central and major role.
MAGGIE STRATTEN - ages 35/45 ish. Attractive, warm and likeable. She has a casual friendly manner spiced by a quick wit. She is Blair's agent and confidante.
PLEASE NOTE -
Ages listed are a guide only
Although the story-line has some similarities, this play is NOT the same as the film of the same name. For one thing, there is no nudity!
