What could be more Australian than a back-yard barbecue? Truck driver Colin Cooper has come into money, so he and his family move into the "posh" Grand Bay neighborhood. Colin throws a Barbecue to meet his new neighbours. Can new money get along with old money? Can singlets and thongs get along with Armani and Versace? Sandgate Theatre is holding auditions for "Barbeque" on Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 November, 7.30 pm at the Sandgate Town Hall. The play by Daryl Peebles is to be performed in February/March 2008.
