Corpse Cabaret is a locally written modern wacky musical - just imagine Rocky Horror Picture Show with a twist.
CHARACTERS REQUIRED
Francesca (The Maid), female, 20’s. Singer preferable.
Isabella (The Maid, preferably a French accent) females, late 30’s. Singer / non-singer
Robin Graves the Butler/werewolf- male, any age, Non singing role
Helga the Housekeeper- female, 40+, non singing role
Jeffery Livermore the Manor’s Chef- male, any age, non singing
Garish and Bluestone- the castle gargoyles (male or female, any age, comedic roles, cockney accents)
Count Cadaver aka ‘master’, male, 50+, non-singing
The Riff-Raff (chorus) between 4 and 10 males or females, any ages, (must be co-ordinated and will be group singing, )
Declan- A young budding pianist (can change instrument he plays to suit the actor), male, 20’s. Singer preferable
Gerard- male, 20’s, extremely camp, Singer Preferable
Mary-Jane- female, 20’s, shy, religious, bookworm. Singer Preferable
Boy Scout 1 (Chris) (aged 10 -14) non-singing
Boy Scout 2 (Rowan)- (aged 10 -14) non-singing
Marianna (she is disguised as the Dungeon Master, her costume must be a large cloak big enough to accommodate the boy scouts in the last scene): Woman aged 45-60 , Singer Preferable.
Auditions will be held at The Joe Cooper Recreation Centre, Pomfret Road, Spearwood on Sunday 4th November at 3.00pm.
Rehearsals will start in next the following weeks, with a break over the Christmas period and then start again ready for the production to go up in March 2008.
