THIS IS AN UPDATED NOTICE FOR THIS PRODUCTION OF

BLOOD BROTHERS AT Melville Theatre Company

Blood Brothers is a rags to riches story that makes a haunting musical tragedy of our times.

CAST: (Age ranges should be used as a guide only)

Mrs. Johnstone (Mother) 30-40's strong actress, voice Mezzo

Narrator (Also appears as Milkman, Bus conductor, Gynaeocologist,Teacher, rifle-range man) 30-50 voice Tenor

Mrs Lyone 30-40's Voice Mezzo

Mr. Lyons 30-40's Voice Baritone

Mickey (Non-identical twin) 20'2-30'sMust be able toplay a convincing 7 & 14 year old Voice Tenor

Edward (Non-identical twin) As for Edward

Sammy 20's-30's Must be able to play a convincing 9 &16 year old Voice N/A

Linda 20's -30's Must be able to play a convincing 7 & 14 year old voice Mezzo

CHORUS: -Requirements: Good vocal ability and ability to play many different parts in the one production. catalogue man, finance man, Policeman, Judge, children, neighbours, wedding guests, councillors, nurses etc.

Olease contact Kirsty Peddie on 0415.557.716 to book a time-slot. These are at 15 minute intervals but as we will also pair people up to do a bit of reading from the play please be prepared to stay for an hour or so. and please arrive 15 mins early yo fill in your personal details.

Auditionees are asked to prepare a song from a musical displaying your vocal ability. This can be unaccompanied or you can bring a backing track with no vocals. You may also sing a song from blood Brothers and use our backing track from the show.

PLEASE NOTE: that due to the complexity of the musical we will not be able to give parts to people who are involved in other productions at the same time.

THe season will run from the last Friday in November for three weeks (Thur to Sat)
