Come down and audition for an entertaining new pantomime with a hilarious script adapted by Belinda Johnston, musical direction and beautiful, original composition by Jye Bryant and exciting choreography by Sara Crowe. This is BCCT's youngest production team ever and we are full of creative enthusiasm and bright ideas. We have several adult roles available for: Aladdin (our hero) Princess Jasmine (our heroine) Widow Twanky (Aladdin's mum - a dame) Sunshine (Twanky's assistant) Abanazar (a bad guy) Grand Vizier (a scary guy) Empress (Jasmine's mum, the queen) Genie (all round crzy wish granting guy) All these roles will have singing parts and some dancing. There are also plenty of chorus parts for singing, dancing and milling about in the background. Kids are more than welcome to come and join in. There is the potential for a small speaking part for a young boy. Auditions will be open and will consist of a cold read for whichever part you are mainly interested in, singing a song of your choice and a short choreography audition (in a group). NOTE: If you wish to audition for Jasmine, there will be a slightly more difficult choreography audition. We are also (always!) in need of people to help out behind the scenes, particularly in set design and construction. If you can lend a hand, please don't hesitate to call or email us or just come along to auditions. Auditions start at 7:30pm. Rehearsals start 10th September at 7pm. Performances are
