The Orphans

 The Old Mill Theatre will audition for their September season on SATURDAY JULY 14th from 2 pm  The Orphans requires 3 women and 3 men mostly of "mature" age.

Storyline: Lily and Catherine have lived in seclusion in their hotel room for the past 25 years, waiting for their parents to return from a trip on the Titanic. Their only visitor their lawyer who delivers in cash, the profits they inherited from their father. unaware of the fact that the hotel in which they live has fallen on hard times along with the district and is now run-down and almost deserted. Their only neighbor is a prostitute (with a heart of gold)  and the bellhop is a con artist who plans to cheat the sisters out of the cash he knows they have hidden in the room. Inevitably their isolation must end, but this proves quite different to that which anyone had imagined!

The action takes place in New York
