CAROUSEL

FEATURED ROLES AND ADULT ENSEMBLE We are looking for 16 versatile performers for the Carousel Company, to create a multi-skilled and energetic ensemble. All auditionees must attend both a Vocal and a Dance audition. All featured roles and understudies will be cast from the ensemble. MALE & FEMALE JUVENILE ENSEMBLE We are looking for 3 Juvenile Leads (mid to late teens -2M, 1F) with a strong dance background and two rotational casts of 8 talented juveniles (5F, 3M) aged 10 – 17 years. Dance training is essential. All auditionees must attend both a Vocal and a Dance audition. Applications for Under 16’s must be sent by a parent, legal guardian or carer. Rehearsals start mid September, Juvenile rehearsals in most cases will be outside school hours. The show opens 15th October 2007 for a 4 week season (plus option on two weeks). There is 1 weekday matinee per week. Final Brisbane Auditions Adult Ensemble and Juvenile Leads VOCAL: Thursday 28th June, Friday 29th June 10am – 4pm, Saturday 30th June 9am – 12 noon DANCE: Sunday 1st July 9am – 12 noon, 5pm – 9pm CALLBACKS: Monday 2nd July from 11am Final Brisbane Auditions Juvenile Ensemble DANCE and VOCAL: Saturday 1st July 1pm – 6pm.
