Charlotte's Web

Here at Beaumaris Theatre we are extremely proud of the tradition and calibre of family shows we have brought to audiences in the past. This year will be no exception. It is with great delight that we confirm that our family show for 2007 is the children’s classic “Charlotte’s Web”, based on the novel by E. B. White. A great story of miracles, this is the timeless tale of Charlotte the Spider who teaches Wilbur the Pig, Templeton the Rat and the other barnyard animals (and humans) lessons on friendship, trust and love. Our production will be staged each weekend from 7th September to the 29th September, and we will be holding an Information Night at Beaumaris Theatre, 82 Wells Road Beaumaris, at 8pm on MONDAY MAY 7th 2007. Auditions will be held in late May (at dates to be confirmed at the information night), and rehearsals will begin in June. We are looking for a cast of twenty (a mixture of adults and children). Character descriptions, audition requirements, and audition times will be given at the information session. The minimum age of cast is 13 years (at the time of auditions) and a maximum of 113years (!?!).
