The story of the lives of a Jewish family during WWII hiding from German occupying forces in attic rooms above a warehouse in Amsterdam. Ten good roles - The Frank family comprising Mr & Mrs Frank and their two daughters Anne and Margot ; plus four others to whom the Franks give refuge - Mr & Mrs Van Daan, their son Peter, and Mr Dussel a dentist. Also in the cast is the warehouse manager, Mr Kraler and officer worker, Miep Gies. All actions takes place in the attic rooms above the warehouse 1942-1944. Anne and Peter's role can be played by people older than 13 and 16 respectively, as long as they can play the part of people that age. There are four other female roles, two around 20, and two 40-50 yrs; there are four male roles 40-60 yrs.
