When Tom Lambert, botanist and TV garding personality, receives a phone call one morning from Inland Revenue enquiring about this public relations consultant, a Miss Joanna Flint. He can honestly say he's never heard of her. By lunchtime, however, he knows all about Miss Flint and rather wishes he didn't, for Sarah, his accountant and ex wife, confesses that she invented Miss Flint as a tax dodge and unfortunately the TGax Office has rumbled her.
How Tom and Sarah manage to get out of this tricky situation, hindered by Albert's part time personal assistant and pub entertainer, Lucy, a young Lady with a secret and Dodds & Lens, bogus and genuine Tax Inspectors respectively, provides plenty of sparkling moments in this highly entertaining comedy.

Garrick Theatre has pleasure in inviting people interested in being part of this seasonally topical (it's tax time when we go up!) hilarious and masterfully written comedy set in London in the 1980s.
Ken Harris, well known actor/director in the Hills theatre scene, promises a fun and rewarding time bringing this play to the stage.

Cast Required:
Tom Lambert:  Lead Male 30s to 40s - confident, handsome, but likes the quiet life in private.

Sarah Lambert: Tom’s ex wife/accountant – late 30s – attractive, lively & energetic.Lucy Napier: 30s - bright, perky, pretty girl.
Albert:  middle aged - world weary, non descript, bit on the seedy side.
Mr Dodds:  50s - public service type persona, wears slightly shabby clothes etc.
Lens: 30s -40s - female, smartly dressed, confident, efficient.
