Fig Jam

The award-winning one-act play Fig Jam is being produced and taken onto the one-act play festival circuit this year, starting with the Mornington Eisteddfod on July 14, and finishing up August 25-26 at Anglesea, with a short Melbourne season thrown in there as well. The play concerns the swansong tour of middle-aged Aussie rock'n'roller, Jason Starbay, touring Czechoslovakia with his band, the Stunned Mullets. Natalia Potofsky is a young Czech girl determined to uncover her past. Their paths cross in a run-down Prague hotel, and the last thing that Jason wants to hear from Natalia is that he is her father... We are looking for a Jason and a Natalia: JASON: 40s, to mid 40s NATALIA: late teens, early 20s Some ability to play guitar would be great, but not essential Rehearsals would be in the Melbourne suburb of Ringwood (depending on actor availability)commencing sometime late May/early June
