Interiors

Hi. My name is Mike Raymond and I'm looking for a good lookin male 20 - 40 to play the male id. The play is called.."Interiors". It's a four hander (I have 3 parts cast). Rehearsals r most likely 2 b Mon nites at Werrington. I hav been acting & directing for 30 yrs and hav a quite a few in house & play fest awards. Synopsis: An attractive PROPER young woman sits at a cafe table. A handsome PROPER young man enters and asks if he may join her as there are no other seats. As the young man makes himself comfortable, the lights brighten and we see thier "ids". Our id is the part of our subconcious that acts on instinct....particularly our sexual feelings, fantasies and impulses. As the proper young woman and man carry on a fairly mundane and proper conversation, the ids intersperse it with thier true feelings and say what they really want to say. At one point the ids realise they can hear each other and all hell breaks loose. This is a very funny short play and is part of a nite of 3 one act plays @ the Henry Lawson Theatre @ Werrington. Dates are Fris & Sats...May 18th/19th, 25th/26th & Jun 1 & 2. Whilst there is no pay, The Henry Lawson Theatre is a very professional group with a stunning soung & lighting set-up and a reputation for great work. If you like good wine, I may be able to bribe u with a bottle or two. There is a good chance that the play will be entered in 1 or more one act festivals, particularly the Canberra One Act Festival on the Oct long w/e but this will depend on the members committments.
