"Shakers"

"Shakers" - the trendiest cocktail bar in town where everyone, but everyone, wants to be seen. "Shakers" for a brief period of time provides its distinctive clientele with a pseudo-glamorous means of escape from the grinding pressures of everyday life. All, however, is not quite what it seems. We are given an hilarious and often acerbic view of the realities that lurk behind this glitzy, tacky dreamworld by the four disillusioned and long suffering waitresses. An excellent ensemble piece for four female actors, each portraying numerous roles. Actors required : Adele - 20s / 30s Carol - 20s / 30s Mel - 40s Nicky - Early 20s Note - ages are stage ages and are flexible.
