"Interiors"

Interiors is a 4 hander. This play is one of 3 x 1 actors on the same bill running Fri & Sat nights - May 18, 19, 25 & 26. June 1 and 2. Rehearsal times to be decided after Cast is finalised. CAST: An attractive & proper young woman & a good looking proper young man. The other two are their ID's - attractive & lust filled. Ages could be anywhere between 20 & 40. "attractive" is a very open ideal. A person's ID is that part of the Psyche where we find the inherited instinctive impulses, dominated by our pleaseure principle & impulsive wishing. "Each of our inner lives is such a jungle of thoughts, feelings, fantasies & impulses that civilisation would be impossible if we expressed them all or if we could all read each other's minds." The setting is a cafe. The proper young woman is seated at a table. She is joined by a stranger, the good looking young man. From the shadows appear their ID's and we hear what each person is REALLY thinking. As the conversation continues, the ID's suddenly realise they can hear each others thoughts (not a normal occurrence) even though their "hosts" cannot. This leads to some very funny confrontations.
