Bullshot Crummond

Season dates: Thursday 22nd November 2007 – Saturday 8th December 2007 Synopsis: One of America’s most performed plays, Bullshot Crummond is a rollicking comedy and a sublime send up of the 1920/30s action adventure books and movies of that ‘terribly’ British detective – “Bulldog Drummond”. The heroes are ‘frightfully’ good and the villains are ‘dreadfully’ evil with action, adventure, mystery, intrigue and romance hurtling hand in hand with aeroplanes, automobiles and incredible contraptions in a wacky plot that is perfect end-of-year mayhem. It is essential that all the characters in the show, despite the stupidity of the situations, are played with as much sincerity as possible. This ability, as well as a proven display of comedic timing and versatility, will be looked for in auditions - as well as the ability to have fun! Please note: experienced actors only.
