"THE HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN"
a comedy-horror by Martin Downing                directed by Lynne Devenish 

Audition: Saturday 3rd February 2007 @ 1.30pm at the Garrick Theatre.
Season: May 4th to 19th – 12 performances with preview.

Cast Required:
BARON VICTOR VON FRANKENSTEIN…a scientist, clean cut, about 45
BARONESS ELISABETH VON FRANKENSTEIN…..his wife, very attractive, outspoken, late 20's – mid 30's
YGOR……his assistant, eccentric, scruffy hunchback, any age
FRAU LURKER….. his housekeeper, dour, menacing, German accent, about 65. Could be played by a male.
THE MONSTER….his creation, resembles the "creature' á la Boris Karloff.
HARRY TALBOT……good looking American, a werewolf, needs to be able to dance.
COUNTESS ILONA BATHORY……the Queen of the Vampires, stylishly attractive, Mid European accent. Late 30's. Needs to be able to dance.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA…the Terror of Paris, about 40, French, menacing and also romantic.
COUNT VLAD DRACULA …the King of the Vampires, mid forties, Romanian accent, suave yet sinister. Formidable. Needs to be able to dance.
ISABEL CHANNING…the Phantom's protegée, American, early thirties, attractive but abrasive, extrovert, dances.

Lynne will need plenty of assistance as this play has a big cast, long props list, many sound and lighting effects. Lynne needs an experienced STAGE MANAGER. Especially need someone to help with or take charge of the set painting & décor. (Castle walls)
