Rehearsals commence once play is cast. If you would like to be involved behind the scenes come to the audition! Please be aware that when auditioning you can commit at this very busy time of the year. Note about cast all but Cherie must have a Texas accent. Cherie comes from Kentucky CAST Female: Elma Duckworth - a waitress (early 20's) Cherie - a chanteuse (bar room singer) (20's) Grace Hoylard - Owner of the restaurant (30's - 40's) Male: Will Masters - Sheriff (30's - 40's) Carl - Bus Driver (any age) Bo Decker - a rancher, cowboy (40's) Virgil Blessing - Ranch hand (any age) Dr Gerald Lyman - former college Professor, mostly tipsy (40's - 50's) Play Synopsis A group of people are stranded overnight in a Kansas diner, in a howling blizzard. They entertain each other, fight, perform Shakespeare, find love, lose love, find it again and finally come to understand themselves and their emotions. A great play with great characters.
