Limelight Theatre Co Inc proudly presents (by special arrangement with Dominie Pty. Ltd.) Blood Brothers By Willy Russell March 2007 Cranbourne Community Theatre Director: Neil Goodwin Musical Director: Drew Downing We are looking for 2 extremely talented individuals to play the twin brothers - Mickey & Eddie. Synopsis: Set in the Liverpool area, ‘Blood Brothers’ tells the tragic tale of fraternal twins who are separated at birth. One brother is raised in a family of great privilege and one brother is raised in poverty. Even with their different socioeconomic backgrounds, the two boys end up becoming best friends until a misunderstanding leads to a tragic ending. Characters: (Age range should be used as a guide only) Mickey — One of the non – identical twin brothers. He is raised in poverty. Age: 20 – 30 but must be able to play a believable child from the age of 7. Voice: Baritone Eddie — The other of the non – identical twin brothers. He is raised by Mrs Lyons with wealth and privilege. Age: 20 – 30 but must also be able to play a believable child from the age of 7. Voice: Tenor Audition & Rehearsal Venue: The Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick. Rehearsals will commence on Mondays and Wednesdays from 13th November until 13th December 2006.
