Little Shop of Horrors - Voice of Audrey II

Were currently auditioning for the voice of Audrey II for the production of Little Shop of Horrors. The part requires strong vocal ability and a lot of character expression in dialogue and songs. “The sound is a cross between Otis Redding, Barry White, and Wolfman Jack. Think of The Voice as that of a street-smart, funky, conniving villain —Rhythm and Blues’ answer to Richard the Third. (low B-flat to high G)”. The sound we are looking for is very close to that of the 1986 film. The rehearals take place on Monday and Thursday evenings with the performance in early February 2007.
