Go Theatre AUDITION NOTICE MALES (early 20s – early 30s) FEMALES (mid 20s – late 30s) Play Murder By Sky Gilbert The '30s torch singer Libby Holman and the cigarette millionaire Smith Reynolds made an unlikely pair. She was an older, notoriously bisexual New Yorker; he was the spoilt young Southern heir to a tobacco fortune, and Libby's obvious sexual inferior. Play Murder's investigation into Smith's untimely death uses biography, fact, and fiction to produce a multifaceted comedy/thriller and character study. Writer, filmmaker, director and sometimes drag queen, Sky Gilbert is one of Canada's most controversial artistic forces.
