Eric Swan (aided by his Uncle George and unbeknown to his wife, Linda} has pocketed thousands of pounds through fraudulent DSS claims. When Norman Bassett (the lodger) opens the door to Mr Jenkins (the DSS Inspector), deceptive mayhem follows as do the undertaker, bereavement counsellor, psychiatrist, Norman's fiancée, a corpse, the ominous Ms Cowper and a rather rebellious washing machine.

Auditions: Sunday 27th August @ 1pm - Garrick Theatre, 16 Meadow Street, Guildford
This production opens on Friday 1st December, with a preview on the 29th November.
Season dates: December 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16
Rehearsals will commence approximately 9th October 2006

Characters Required:
Eric Swan: Late 30's to mid 40's. Normally steadfast and in control. Thinks fast on his feet.
Linda Swan: Attractive devoted wife of Eric 30's to 40's
Norman Bassett: Friend and lodger of the Swans. Mid 30's to 40's.
Mr Jenkins: Middle aged council employee, less intelligent than he appears.
Uncle George: 45 - 65 of lightish build adn stature. Happy type.
Sally: young welfare worker, studious type.
Dr Chapman: Mild mannered marriage guidance counselor.
Mr Forbright: Undertaker of indeterminate age. Must maintain his dour attitude.
Ms Cowper: Sever looking DSS Inspector. Well padded and officious.
Miss Dixon: Norman's fiance, the girl next door type.
